India-specific data protection and digital-services requirements must be confirmed against current official sources before launch.

UK GDPR and relevant ICO guidance are reviewed for UK-facing services.
Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and current PIPC guidance are reviewed.

Categories of personal information collected, purposes, lawful basis where applicable, retention, processors and service providers, international transfers, analytics and advertising technologies, user rights, complaint channels and contact information.
The launch design will avoid collecting personal information that is not necessary for editorial delivery, audience measurement, security, subscriptions or requested services.
Legal requirements will be maintained from primary or near-primary sources and versioned by jurisdiction and effective date before production features are enabled.
